62410 - Add ability to revise Internal POs
Description:
Maximo 7.5 implemented the abiltiy to create a PO revision and removed the abiltiy to change an APPR PO to WAPPR. However, while the abilty to unapprove an internal PO was removed the revision capability was not added.
Maximio 7.5 still requires the use of internal POs for re-order capability and for internal orders that will be split into multiple shipments.
The ability to create PO revisions needs to be in place for both internal and external POs.
Use case:
1. A central warehouse exists which supplies large number of storerooms at multiple site.
2. The site ordering the parts either lets the re-order routine or logistics staff create the orders for items from the central warehouse.
3. A manager for the ordering site reviews the order and approves it.
4. The parts that the warehouse has on hand are then shipped to the ordering site.
5. When the order is reviewed the next day, the warehouse staff realize that the order includes an obsolete part. They have the new revision of the part, but it has a different item number.
6. However, neither the warehouse or site staff have the ability to revise or modify the internal PO with the part number for the new revision of the part.
