63370 - When a contract has been modified/revised
Citat från William Wensing den 19 juni, 2019, 11:31Description:
When modifications to DO's are needed, the current process is to duplicate the PR and make the modification changes. This works with the exception of when a contract has been modified/revised between the first PR being issued and the duplication. The contract and revision fields on the PR are locked and do not allow a change. While validating the information put into the duplicated PR, Maximo returns a hard error on the contract and revision field because the contract is no longer valid, it is in a “Revised Status”. This is due to the contract change that took place. When a contract is changed/modified, the status changes to Revised and the modified contract is now the approved and effective contract to be used.
Use case:
Suggested Corrective Action – Upon validation have Maximo ask the user if they want the contract/revision to be updated with the effective contract and revision number, update and then allow changes.
